By creating an account, you confirm that the information provided is true and up to date.

  1. Aboutly Services

Aboutly is a smart link-in-bio and AI assistant platform designed for professionals, creators, and businesses to showcase links, receive bookings, and communicate with clients.

Features may include:

  • Link and bio profile creation.
  • Calendar and booking integration.
  • Client communication and form handling.
  • Email notifications and updates via Resend.
  • Secure data storage and authentication through Firebase.
  • Subscription billing via Stripe.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at our discretion with reasonable notice.

  1. Account Registration and Security

When creating an Aboutly account, you must maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorised access or security breaches.
  • Use strong passwords and safeguard your account access.
  • Not share your credentials or misuse another user’s account.

We are not liable for loss or damage caused by failure to comply with these responsibilities.

  1. Subscriptions and Billing

Aboutly offers both free and paid subscription plans.

6.1 Payments

Payments for paid plans are securely processed via Stripe.
By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to process payments on your behalf according to your selected plan.

6.2 Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Aboutly dashboard.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, no refunds are provided for partially used billing periods unless required by law.

6.3 Taxes

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

  1. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Aboutly for:

  • Illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities.
  • Uploading or distributing harmful, obscene, or infringing content.
  • Spamming, phishing, or unauthorised advertising.
  • Impersonating other individuals or entities.
  • Attempting to hack, disable, or disrupt the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these conditions.

  1. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of any content you upload to Aboutly.

By posting or linking content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content solely to provide Aboutly’s services.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate copyright, trademark, or privacy laws.

  1. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

We use trusted providers to deliver our services:

  • Firebase (Google Cloud) for hosting, authentication, and analytics.
  • Stripe for billing and payments.
  • Resend for email notifications.

By using Aboutly, you consent to data processing under these conditions.

  1. Termination of Account

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  1. Logging into your dashboard and clicking “Delete Account” under the Danger Zone section; or
  2. Emailing support@aboutly.io with the subject “Account Termination Request.”

Upon deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems, except for data required by law (e.g. transaction records).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse our services.

  1. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Aboutly, including trademarks, code, designs, and logos, are owned by or licensed to Kynos Group LTD.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without our written consent.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aboutly and Kynos Group LTD shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Loss of profits, business, or data.
  • Service interruptions or third-party failures (e.g. Firebase, Stripe, Resend).

Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you within the last 12 months prior to the claim.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aboutly, its affiliates, directors, and employees against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or breach of these Terms.

  1. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Any material changes will be communicated via email or on the Aboutly website. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
